   HI!  I am the newest member of Remembrance.  I joined the band in August of 2007.  I have been singing since I was 10 and have been praying for a long time now for the Lord to open up an opportunity for me to use my talent to glorify him. 

 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord; all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture."  Psalm 100:1-3

   I had what some would consider a rough childhood.  My parents fought all the time and I dealt with a lot of emotional and psychological abuse.  My parents divorced when I was 10 and my mom, brother, and I moved to Front Royal, Va.  Even for being so young, I was going through a very hard time.  I had moved to a new town away from all of my friends and family.  I was scared and felt very alone.  Within a few weeks my mom started taking me to church.  I met lots of new friends and was accepted into the church family.  I asked the Lord into my heart when I was 11.  I have had a close relationship with God ever since. 

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that goes with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."  Deuteronomy 31:6

   The Lord has been my strength through all the hard times.  The only one I can count on through anything and everything.  It is by the grace of God that I have become the person that I am today.  Through much prayer and support from the Lord I have come to believe that all the things we go through in our lifetime are there to make us the person the Lord wants us to be.  I thank God everyday for all of the blessings in my life.   

"Therefore, my beloved bretheren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. "       I Corinthians 15:58.
